Hi
I'm Tiger-Nick. I live 30 miles north of Altanta, Ga, in a small town
called Cumming. I live with my wife, Christine, and my sons Drew and Wyatt.
We live in a little house near Lake Lanier that has the feel of the area we
are originally from.
Work
I don't work. I was very lucky and married a person who is very
intelligent and career oriented; I am neither, so I stay home as a full
time Dad, or 'Stay at Home Dad'. The benefits of me staying home
(both in cost and value) outweigh me getting a job, or starting my own
business. With Drew around, that's really not even an option for the next
few years.
I have formal training in Art as a Graphic Designer. I have many years of
experience, and my portfolio speaks for itself
Amateur Radio
One of my (many) hobbies includes Ham Radio. It's not as geeky as it
sounds. I am an amateur extra, and very active in my area. It's for that
reason that I don't really want this site to pop up on google if someone
searches my callsign, so.. Sorry: Email me if you'd like to know it, and
maybe we can make a sked. I even teach a 'technician' licensing class
(that's the first license) 2 times a year. I love the idea of radio and the
magic that it contains. If you're also a 'furry ham' there's a website out
there. Furryhams.org
Polo
I really like fursuits. The whole idea really appeals to me, and I love
interacting with something so cuddly, and cute! I knew I had to have one of
these things, and yet, I also knew I couldn't buy one. I ended up doing
what anyone with little money and lots of time did - I made my own. Check
out Polo.orangefur.com for more
information and pictures of Polo!
Wood
A few folks have probably heard me bitch about wood. We heat our house with
a wood stove that is in the living room. It's a lot of work, but it's
really cheap, and it's generally very warm in our house during winter. I
even built my own little wood shed.
My Sons
Drew was born on March 26th, 2007. Wyatt (Wy) was born January 28, 2009
What more can I say? They’re very cute, and they’ve even got their own website. This is where the majority of my
time is spent. I'm very thankful that I can stay home and be a full time
Dad to watch my children grow and learn and be a huge part of that.
